About Glengyle Distillery
Glengyle Distillery has been the home of Kilkerran Single Malt since 2004. The distillery, like the town where it is located has a rich and vibrant whisky heritage. Originally founded in 1873 by William Mitchell it ceased production in 1925. In the year 2000, the buildings were bought by J and A Mitchell and it reopened as a working distillery in 2004.
