About The Glasgow Distillery Co.
Founded in 2012, The Glasgow Distillery produce a selection of handcrafted small-batch premium spirits, including the award-winning range of Glasgow 1770 Single Malt Scotch Whisky, Malt Riot Blended Malt Scotch Whisky, Makar Gin, Banditti Club Rum & G52 Botanical Vodka.
The distillery was founded by three friends whose sole mission was to bring single malt whisky production back to the city after the original ‘Glasgow Distillery Company’ was closed in 1902 and no new distilleries opened in the interim period.
The Glasgow Distillery is not currently open to members of the public for tours.
