About Speyside Distillery
The distillery is not currently open to the public.
Speyside Distillery is an artisan distillery using traditional techniques for producing Award Winning Single Malt Whisky and hand-crafted gins.
Originally a barley mill built in the 1760's and milling until 1962 it was lovingly converted into a distillery in the 1970's and ran it's first distillation in December 1990. The water comes from the original mill lade from the river Tromie and the water wheel is still in working order.
Brands include SPEY Single Malt; BEINN DUBH Single Malt and BYRON's GIN.
